GEOGRAPHICAL REACH

The Frazier Family Foundation directs the majority of its funding to organizations serving the Coastal Bend region of Texas.

On a limited basis, the Foundation may consider support for organizations outside the region when a grant aligns strongly with the Foundation’s mission and strategic priorities. These grants are typically unsolicited.

Governing Principles

The Frazier Family Foundation, Inc. is a charitable non-profit corporation organized under the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act. The foundation has a set of bylaws that must be followed. The board of directors manages the affairs of the corporation, and the operating director oversees day-to-day activity.

A list of common questions of the Foundation

Can we have a copy of your 990PF or Annual Report?

Yes. The 990-PF’s filed by the Foundation are available upon a written request addressed to the Frazier Family Foundation, Inc., Attn: Operating Director, 807 N Upper Broadway, Suite 300, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401.

Does the Foundation conduct site visits?

The Foundation may request a site visit to learn more about your organization or program as part of the grant review process.

Why was my proposal declined? May we re-submit our proposal?

The Foundation is unable to fund every request. The Foundation receives requests in excess of the funding available for grant-giving. A decision not to fund a request does not reflect on the applicant or the importance of the proposal. You may re-submit next year.

When will I be notified of a decision by the board?

You will be notified after the board of directors meeting following the application deadline.

How often can I submit an application?

Once each calendar year.

Does the Foundation give to building or operating grant requests?

Yes.

Do you fund individuals for special projects or scholarships?

No, the Foundation does not make grants to individuals. While the Foundation does periodically fund scholarships at various institutions, the institution, not the Foundation, determines the recipients of those scholarship funds.

What is the grant deadline?

All applications must be submitted by August 1st.

Does the Foundation accept applications via email or mail?

No. All applications must be submitted through the grant application form.

How do we submit a grant application?

To apply for a grant, please fill out the grant application form.

Who is eligible to apply for a grant from The Frazier Family Foundation?

Qualified 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations which are tax-exempt as defined by the Internal Revenue Code AND are located within the Coastal Bend: Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio Counties.
